A SPECIAL PLACE
Bethany Riverview is designed with the needs of people with dementia in mind. Every space intentionally considered for the needs of a person with dementia. All of our large private rooms also include spacious ensuites. Rooms are clustered into neighbourhoods and households with kitchens and living areas featuring visual and sensory clues for helping someone with dementia feel safe and comfortable.
Our Rotary Atrium gives residents a beautiful space, filled with wandering paths, benches and lush greenery. It is a year-round oasis and will be the hub for many activities, programs and gatherings.
Alberta's Rising Dementia Rate
Meeting the Challenge
In less than 20 years, one in five Albertans will be over the age of 65 and the number of people living with dementia is expected to double. Today, there are 13,000 people living with dementia in Calgary.
